Desired Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Michigan or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and ability to design effective, individualized therapy plans Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and other support staff Capable of managing a varied caseload with a broad spectrum of needs and abilities

What You'll Do:

Evaluate students to identify motor skill deficits and develop evidence-based treatment goals Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in alignment with students' IEP goals Document services, maintain records, and participate in the IEP process, including meetings and progress reports Provide training and resources for staff and families to support students' success in school Contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate on strategies to support student mobility and participation
