Salary based on experience, with bonus opportunity Sherriff Goslin Company, an established roofing company with over 120 years in business, is seeking an experienced Roofing Project Supervisor / Project Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day management, estimating, bidding, coordination, documentation, and supervision of commercial roofing projects. This is a multi-aspect role that includes both office and field responsibilities. The right person will help support crews, coordinate projects, attend pre-bid meetings, source new work, prepare bids, manage submittals and project documentation, and help ensure contract requirements are handled properly from bid stage through project completion.

Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Supporting roofing crews and subcontractors in the field Visiting jobsites to review progress, quality, safety, and project needs Coordinating materials, deliveries, schedules, and project details Attending pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs Reviewing plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents Assisting with takeoffs, estimates, proposals, and bid submissions Sourcing new work through job sourcing platforms, public bid listings, and other project opportunities Managing submittals, shop drawings, product data, insurance documents, closeout documents, and project compliance requirements Communicating with customers, general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and internal team members Helping resolve project issues, field questions, schedule conflicts, and customer concerns Assisting with material orders, change orders, contract documents, project files, and project documentation Helping ensure projects are completed professionally, efficiently, safely, and according to scope Required Experience / Qualifications The ideal applicant must have: Experience with commercial roofing projects Experience with public bid work Experience with submittals, shop drawings, closeout documents, and project compliance paperwork Experience in roofing, construction, project supervision, estimating, or project coordination Knowledge of metal roofing systems Knowledge of asphalt shingle roofing systems Experience with job sourcing platforms and bid opportunity websites Understanding of bid documents, contract requirements, insurance requirements, and project documentation Ability to read plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work with crews, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, architects, and consultants Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities at the same time Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record A professional attitude and willingness to be involved in both field and office responsibilities Preferred, But Not Required Experience with any of the following is a bonus: Slate roofing Copper roofing and custom metal work Cedar shake roofing Tile roofing Specialty or historic roofing systems Compensation and Benefits This position offers: Salary based on experience Bonus structure based on performance and/or company goals Health insurance options Potential company gas card Potential use of a company vehicle while on company business Opportunity for growth within the company Steady, long-term position with an established roofing company Ideal Candidate The right candidate will be someone who understands roofing, communicates well, can help keep projects organized, and is comfortable moving between the office, jobsites, pre-bid meetings, suppliers, customers, crews, and general contractors.
