Job Description

Steel Estimator Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Steel Estimator to support structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection projects. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and contributing to successful project bidding and execution.
Steel Estimator Key Responsibilities:
Prepare estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform material take-offs and labor cost calculations Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and clients Support bid submissions and project handoff
Steel Estimator Qualifications:
Experience in steel estimating, fabrication, or erection Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications Strengths with miscellaneous projects is a plus Proficiency in estimating software, Bluebeam, and MS Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication internally and with clients
Onsite Work Requirement:
Must be based in or willing to work in the Mt Pleasant, MI area
