Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team and take ownership of estimating and selling reconstruction projects within the property damage and restoration industry.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused — someone who communicates clearly, builds trust easily, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality estimates.

This is a base salary plus commission position, with compensation aligned to your experience and industry knowledge. Prepare accurate, thorough estimates using Xactimate and other industry tools. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, property managers, insurance adjusters, and trade partners. Record project details, updates, and communications within company systems, including Outlook, Dash, Encircle, and Xactimate. Communicate consistently and professionally with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress. Present solutions clearly and persuasively to highlight value and build client confidence. Partner closely with other departments to ensure seamless project handoffs and overall success. Qualifications Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure. Familiarity with building codes and restoration industry standards. Strong computer and software skills (Outlook, Xactimate, Dash, Encircle). 2+ years of experience in construction or property restoration estimating. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Skilled in negotiating subcontractor pricing and costs. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.
