Job Description

Junior Electrical Estimator Position Summary White Light Electric is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator who wants to build a long-term career in estimating, preconstruction, and project management while supporting commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout Southeast Michigan. This position supports the estimating department by assisting with quantity takeoffs, blueprint review, vendor pricing, scope development, bid preparation, and project handoff activities. The Junior Estimator will work directly with senior leadership and gain exposure to all aspects of electrical construction, estimating, operations, and business development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, coachable, and eager to learn. This role is designed for individuals who want to grow professionally while helping White Light Electric deliver accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates. Education & Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License Strong computer skills Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Preferred:
Electrical field experience Construction experience Estimating experience Trimble Accubid experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Candidates with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.
