Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analyzing job specifications to determine accurate project costsParticipate in client walkthroughs to gather detailed project requirements and scope.Review and analyze past bids to identify areas for improvement and apply learnings to future projects.
Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and leadership to align on project scope and strategy Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating tools Track and manage multiple bids, ensuring deadlines are consistently met Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed Support handoff of awarded projects to operations teams
