Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our dedicated veterinary team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call our practice. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help facilitate smooth clinic operations, coordinate appointments, answer phone calls, maintain a clean working environment and support the delivery of exceptional pet care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for animals with excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced, pet-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently to maximize clinic flow Manage client check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and professionalism Fill prescriptions and refills as prescribed by the doctor Maintain accurate client records, update patient information, and ensure confidentiality Assist veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic animal care procedures as needed Support kennel operations by ensuring animal husbandry standards are met Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet health instructions, follow-up care, and vaccination schedules Assist with laboratory procedures such as sample collection or processing when required Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including managing supplies related to pet care and client education materials Qualifications Previous experience in veterinary clinics or animal handling environments is highly preferred Experience with dog, cat and exotic health and wellbeing is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to explain veterinary instructions clearly to clients Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques while demonstrating patience and compassion Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners! Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
