Company Overview Nitti Companies is a family-owned and operated business providing waste removal, hauling, and demolition services across the greater Twin Cities area. With three generations of experience, we take pride in delivering efficient, reliable solutions tailored to each project. Our demolition and specialty services division focuses on hands-on field work including demolition and wrecking, excavation, sewer and water disconnects, erosion control, grading & backfill, land clearing and more! Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator/Project Manager to join our demolition and specialty services division. This role is responsible for estimating and bidding work, building customer relationships, and managing projects from start to finish. You will play a key role in developing new business, preparing accurate and competitive bids, communicating with customers, and overseeing project execution to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Compensation This a salary + performance based compensation role with earning potential tied to project performance and sales generated. Compensation will be based on experience and value brough to the role. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive bids for demolition service projects. Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors and vendors. Manage projects from award through completion, including scheduling and coordination. Communicate with crews, dispatch and customers throughout each job. Track job progress, costs and performance to ensure profitability. Conduct site visits to evaluate scope of work and project requirments. Oversee demolition site activities ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies Coordinate project resources effectively by managing subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth execution Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines Assist in identifying new business opportunities and growing the division. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on demolition projects; familiarity with heavy civil or commercial demolition preferred Strong project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation Hands-on construction/demolition site experience with a solid understanding of job safety and environmental requirements Ability to communicate clearly with clients, crews, subcontractors and vendors Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
