Minneapolis Glass in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking to hire a full-time Project Estimator to manage the details of our commercial construction glazing and glass interiors bidding process. If you already have glazing estimating experience, you would earn up to $65,000 . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT ESTIMATOR

As a Commercial Glazing Estimator, you oversee every detail of estimating costs and resources to bid and win commercial glass exterior and interior construction contracts . We work with large general contractors as well as specialty architecture or custom commercial builders. You collaborate with contractors and architects to understand the project and then analyze blueprints and calculate material take-offs to develop a strong bid package . Using our business processes and software - such as GDS, PartnerPak, and Bluebeam, you estimate costs of the project and provide the detail to ensure a successful hand-off of the awarded job to the Project Manager. You develop strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal team members. You WIN the projects! QUALIFICATIONS A

high school diploma / GED required 1-3 years of estimating experience in commercial construction. Specific glazing or interior glass experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of estimating, reading blueprints, and calculating material take-offs Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites - especially Excel An associate or bachelor degree in construction management is preferred, but not required. Experience with software such as GDS, Bluebeam, or PartnerPak / Glazier Studio would also be a plus. Do you have excellent professional communication skills?
