Well established general contractor with strong backlog of projects into 2027 Excellent leadership team with great internal growth opportunities About Our Client Our client provides expertise on a range of building types including Multifamily, Senior Living, Hospitality, and Mixed-use. They partner with clients, architects and subcontractors to provide an integrated team approach for preconstruction and construction services. Being family-owned and operating for 80+ years, culture is very important to them. Everyone knows each other by name and they like to support and help grow their employees, so they are looking to add an estimator to their close-knit team! Job Description Analyze construction plans, specifications, and drawings to define project scope. Perform quantity takeoffs, review vendor/subcontractor quotes, and develop accurate estimates using historical data. Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy, client interviews, and presentations. Communicate and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Solicit, evaluate, and prequalify subcontractors/suppliers; distribute project documents to bidders. Support preconstruction and design-assist efforts; contribute to plan reviews and project handoffs. Identify value engineering opportunities and research innovative methods, materials, and solutions. Build and maintain subcontractor relationships to strengthen bid coverage and outcomes. Assist in developing and executing winning bid strategies. Complete additional estimating-related tasks as directed. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field 3+ years estimating experience with demonstrated leadership in estimates Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Understanding of construction building means and methods Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment What's on Offer Base salary ranging from $100,000-$125,000 depending on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contribution Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) Paid medical leave Tuition reimbursement Professional development stipend Health club membership reimbursement Pet insurance And more!
