Overview:
Yarbrough Industries is looking for a skilled draftsman/estimator who can take a project from concept to numbers with confidence. This role is critical to keeping jobs accurate, profitable, and moving forward. You'll work directly with sales, production, and customers to turn ideas into buildable plans and realistic estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed fabrication drawings (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar) Interpret blueprints, specs, and customer requirements Prepare accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates Work with shop team to ensure drawings are practical and efficient to build Communicate with customers/vendors when needed for clarification or pricing Support project handoff from estimate → production
Qualifications:
Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or manufacturing Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor preferred) Strong understanding of materials, labor, and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret complex drawings Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
What We're Looking For:
Someone who doesn't just draw parts—but understands how they're built Can catch issues before they hit the shop floor Comfortable owning both the technical drawing and the numbers
Compensation & Benefits:
