Job Description

Restoration Estimator (Xactimate) We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restoration Estimator to join a growing team. This role is responsible for inspecting property damage, writing accurate Xactimate estimates, and working closely with insurance carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure projects are properly scoped and approved.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect residential and commercial properties for water, fire, mold, and storm damage Create detailed estimates using Xactimate, including line items and sketches Develop clear and accurate scopes of work for production teams Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure approvals Manage revisions, supplements, and estimate updates as needed Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment on job scope and budget Maintain timely turnaround on estimates and documentation Provide a high level of customer communication throughout the estimating process
Qualifications:
Proven experience writing estimates in Xactimate Strong understanding of restoration and/or construction practices Ability to read and interpret scopes, photos, and project documentation Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
Background in restoration, construction, or insurance adjusting IICRC certifications are a plus
