Job Description

Civil Sitework Estimator We are seeking a Civil Sitework Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating mass grading, excavation, and underground utility projects and be proficient with HCSS HeavyBid and Agtek . This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong backlog of work and long-term career growth. Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil sitework projects. Review plans, specifications, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, excavation, and underground utilities. Develop competitive bid proposals and pricing strategies. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Collaborate with operations and project management teams during the bidding process. Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with project handoffs after award. Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience in civil sitework construction. Experience estimating mass grading, excavation, and underground utility projects. Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid and Agtek is required. Strong understanding of civil construction methods and project costs. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Preferred Experience Experience bidding commercial, industrial, municipal, or DOT sitework projects. Knowledge of local subcontractor and supplier markets. Experience working in a fast-paced estimating environment.
