Join our team as a Grading/Utilities Estimator and play a key role in delivering high-impact, successful projects! Position Summary As a Grading/Utilities Estimator , you will be a crucial part of the construction process, ensuring accurate cost estimates and effective budget management. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your expertise in estimating and cost control will keep projects within financial targets. Your proficiency with Bluebeam, Agtek, and HCSS , along with strong negotiation skills, will be vital in managing contracts. Your organizational abilities and excellent communication will support collaboration with construction teams, helping deliver high-quality results in a dynamic work environment. Benefits

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and feasibility studies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Apply principles of budgeting, cost estimating, and financial management.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance to architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge of building components and maintenance requirements.
• Stay up to date with federal, state, and local construction codes and regulations.
• Communicate effectively within the team and utilize sales/negotiation techniques.
• Organize resources, prioritize tasks, and make complex decisions.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned. Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for a grading and/or utility company .
• Proficient in Agtek, HCSS, and Bluebeam (required).
• Strong knowledge of applicable construction codes and regulations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Team player and leader with a growth mindset.
