Full Job Description Overview:

MATEM Landscaping and Construction is a well-established, family owned landscaping and construction company. We are known for our commitment to delivering high-quality project results. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscaping and Construction Estimator to join our team and help ensure the success of our projects. Candidate will need to have experience in estimating the following services:

Land Clearing Grading Concrete Sod Installation Tree Removal Additional Construction Related Projects Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscaping and Construction Estimator to assess and estimate the cost of projects, from landscaping to construction and everything in between. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and landscaping, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create accurate, competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits to assess job conditions, determine material requirements, and assess potential challenges. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope. Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for landscaping and construction projects. Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate quotes. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and availability. Review and finalize estimates for approval fir owner approval. Ensure compliance with all local regulations, standards, and building codes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an estimator in landscaping and/or construction (minimum 2 years). Strong understanding of construction and landscaping terminology, materials, and processes. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of local construction and landscaping codes and regulations.
