SENIOR ESTIMATOR - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

Full-Time / Permanent A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction estimator to work on complex, high-value commercial projects across multiple market sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead estimating from conceptual design through final bid and contract award Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid packages and scope reviews Review plans, specifications and construction documents Solicit, analyze and level subcontractor and vendor bids Identify project risks, exclusions and estimating opportunities Partner with Project Management, Operations and leadership on project strategy Participate in preconstruction, value engineering and client/architect meetings Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Mentor junior estimating team members and help improve estimating processes

QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience Strong hard-bid estimating experience required Experience estimating complex commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, materials and subcontractor scopes Experience with quantity takeoffs, subcontractor bid analysis and scope leveling Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred but not required
