This Commercial Estimator opportunity offers autonomy within a tight-knit group, with a collaborative culture and minimal bureaucracy—plus the chance to grow into federal work as opportunities expand. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Estimator position include: 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and plan/document reviews across civil, structural, and architectural drawings Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates using historical data, current market pricing, and vendor quotes Manage and coordinate bid development from solicitation through submission, including subcontractor and vendor coordination Solicit, qualify, and level subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure complete and comparable scope coverage Analyze and negotiate subcontract terms per company policies while utilizing company forms Ensure estimates account for applicable bonding, wage determinations, and other federal or public contracting requirements (federal familiarity is a plus) Support a clean handoff to project management, including budget, scope clarifications, and pricing support for change orders
Salary:
$80,000 - $90,000 per year, firm cap around $90,000.
