Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Heimes Corporation provides excavation, underground utilities, recycled concrete, plumbing, directional drilling, fiber splicing, underground storage tanks, wrecking, transportation, hydro-excavation, and hazardous materials cleanup and hauling.
Job Functions:
Providing support to the estimating department & assisting in projects from start to finish.
Project takeoffs:
Perform initial site takeoffs, and look over plans and specifications
Job Bidding:
Analyze project scopes, plans, reports and construct accurate cost estimates, coordinate with any suppliers & subs for quotes
Site Walkthroughs:
Attend pre-bid meetings and evaluate field sites
Project Management:
Coordinate schedules with general contractors, subs, & our self-performed superintendents
Material Management:
Order site materials and delivery
Change Orders:
Track project variations, record and submit documentation
Client Relations:
Help maintain relationships with existing corporate customers and build new business relationships
Qualification Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Degree in Construction Management or relevant field experience
Plan Proficiency:
Ability to accurately read plans and specifications
Tech Capabilities:
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Software Preferred:
Experience in AGTEK Gradework is highly beneficial. Trimble Business Center is also preferred

Sharp mathematical skills & clear communication habits
