Job Description

Electrical Estimator is a full-time, in-person opportunity in Fairfield, CA with a smaller team where you'll have direct access to ownership and meaningful responsibility from day one. If you have DSA/public works electrical estimating experience, this role offers the chance to shape bid outcomes on a variety of public projects while supported by training for the right background and estimating expertise. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Estimator - DSA & Public Works position include: Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and estimate requirements Complete takeoffs and enter information into the estimating system to prepare estimates Review estimating outputs for accuracy and completeness Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials Identify qualified suppliers and subcontractors, solicit quotes, and review quotes against plans and specifications Itemize and quantify subcontract work, equipment rental, tools, supplies, and other bid package requirements Support project turnover after successful bids by reviewing the estimate, scope of work, and quotes with project management Assist with light project management-related documentation, distribution, and submittals as needed
Salary:
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
