Project Manager / Estimator Multi Weld Contoocook, NH Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Bluebeam Revu Customer communication Bluebeam Computer skills Full Job Description Steel Project Manager / Estimator Multi-Weld Services, Inc. has an amazing opportunity for a well-rounded individual with strong experience in project management and estimation of custom metal fabrication with an emphasis on structural steel and miscellaneous metals (i.e. metal pan stairs, railings, balconies, etc.) Imagine working in a relaxed environment where you are appreciated for our input and work and your ability to impact the bottom line runs through every project you manage.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures for structural steel and miscellaneous metals. Strong ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting stringent deadlines Visualization skills, can you see the end product in your head? Excellent communication skills Ideally 5-10 years' experience in our industry or a similar field Ability to bid work, evaluate schedules and oversee production when necessary; both in the field and the shop Background in engineering design and/or construction is desirable Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Bluebeam. Position Duties Include, but are not limited to: Responds to bid invitations and quote requests in a timely manner Reads and understands drawings and project specifications Accurately forecast direct, indirect and overhead costs Develops project scope of work Coordinates with customers and subcontractors to clarify scope and develop means and methods Effectively manages subcontractor/supplier quotes Develops and maintains strong and lasting relationships with our customers and suppliers Submits RFIs during pre-bid and construction phases Coordinates production schedule for multiple, concurrent projects We have a quiet, relaxed atmosphere with a clean office overlooking the Contoocook River.
