Construction Estimator (Metal Stud Framing & Drywall)
Employment Type:
Full-Time Pay range is dependent on experience (DOE) and will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and overall fit for the role. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team in an on-site capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and detailed project cost estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, and performing quantity take-offs for metal stud framing and drywall scopes. This role works closely with project managers and internal teams to support budgeting accuracy, competitive bidding, and overall financial efficiency across project phases. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets based on construction drawings and specifications Perform accurate quantity take-offs for metal stud framing, drywall, and related scopes of work Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to ensure precise estimation Collaborate with project managers and internal stakeholders to ensure bid accuracy and competitiveness Manage multiple bid submissions while meeting tight deadlines Respond to client inquiries related to project scope, pricing, and clarifications Support cost control initiatives throughout the project lifecycle Maintain organized documentation of estimates, revisions, and project data Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator Strong expertise in metal stud framing systems and drywall assemblies Proven experience performing quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Experience with OnCenter software preferred but not required Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment Additional Requirements Valid driver's license Ability to work in an on-site environment 5+ years of overall construction industry experience
