Job Summary:
The company specializes in structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication and erection and is a certified AISC fabricator. We are seeking an experienced
STEEL ESTIMATOR
to join our team. As a
STEEL ESTIMATOR
you will be required to research bidding opportunities, download and print drawings, perform steel take-offs, estimate fabrication and erection of steel, stairs, railings, etc. Write detailed steel proposals, negotiate potential awards. Upon award of a contract, further responsibilities include assigning a shop drawing detailer and connection calculation engineer, submit shop drawings via various software platforms and follow up.
Responsibilities:
Meet with office management to develop sales strategies Must be proficient with AISC procedures Impeccable documentation and organization Multiple languages is a plus, English, Spanish, Portuguese 7:00 - 3:30 + full time Computer savvy Proficient with knowledge of
