For over 15 years, the company has delivered complex façade restoration, roofing, waterproofing, masonry and concrete restoration projects across New York City. The Opportunity As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of building restoration and exterior envelope projects. Working alongside experienced project managers and company leadership, you will help secure new work while ensuring projects are positioned for successful execution from the outset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of estimating and wants to join a collaborative team with a strong reputation in the New York restoration market. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for façade restoration, roofing, waterproofing, masonry and concrete restoration projects. Review drawings, specifications, contracts and bid documents. Perform detailed quantity take-offs. Solicit, evaluate and level subcontractor and supplier quotations. Identify scope gaps, exclusions and commercial risks. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required. Develop competitive bid submissions while maintaining profitability. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure a seamless handover following project award. Maintain estimating databases and accurate bid documentation. Assist with value engineering opportunities and cost-saving initiatives where appropriate. Qualifications Previous estimating experience within exterior building restoration, façade, roofing, masonry or concrete restoration. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and estimating principles. Experience preparing competitive lump sum and negotiated estimates. Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and estimating software. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $85,000-$150,000 , depending on experience.
