Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of opportunities, we are seeking a commercially focused Estimator to join our team in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estimating professional to play a key role in developing competitive tender submissions and supporting the continued success of our Australian operations. About the Role As an Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate, commercially robust estimates and pricing strategies for a variety of industrial services projects. Working closely with Operations teams and technical subject matter experts, you will help optimise delivery solutions, assess risks, and develop winning tender submissions. You will be a critical contributor throughout the tender process, ensuring cost models are accurate, competitive, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed labour, equipment, material, and subcontract cost estimates. Build tender pricing models and support the development of project P&L forecasts. Collaborate with Operations and Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to optimise delivery methodologies and execution plans. Analyse key cost drivers, productivity assumptions, and resource requirements. Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analysis to support pricing strategies. Lead cost risk assessments and assist with contingency development. Maintain estimating databases, historical benchmarks, and lessons learned registers. Support tender reviews, governance requirements, and approval processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating function. Requirements About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience in estimating, tendering, project controls, commercial, or related disciplines. Experience in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Energy or Infrastructure industries will be highly regarded. Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills. Experience within industrial services, maintenance, shutdowns, oil & gas, resources, mining, energy, or similar industries. A strong understanding of project costing, pricing, and commercial drivers. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. The ability to review technical information and translate it into accurate cost models. A proactive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
