Job Description Lead estimating activities for multifamily construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission. Develop accurate cost estimates, takeoffs, bid packages, and proposals. Collaborate closely with operations, project management, superintendents, and leadership teams. Review drawings, specifications, subcontractor proposals, and project documents to identify risks and opportunities. Support strategic planning and preconstruction decision-making for upcoming projects. Mentor and guide estimating personnel while contributing to best practices and process improvements. Utilize Procore and other estimating tools to manage project information and workflows. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Help support regional growth initiatives while ensuring competitive and profitable project pursuits. Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on communication, accountability, and client satisfaction. The Successful Applicant Minimum 7 years of estimating experience within multifamily construction. Demonstrated success preparing estimates for ground-up and/or renovation multifamily projects. Strong proficiency with Procore. Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and support teams. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, budgeting, and cost controls. Ability to analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in residential and commercial construction environments is a plus. Candidates with 15+ years of estimating experience are encouraged to apply.
