Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Estimator Construction to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, supporting project planning, and ensuring competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications Ø Perform quantity takeoffs (materials, labor, equipment) Ø Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets Ø Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes Ø Identify potential risks and cost saving opportunities Ø Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors Ø Prepare bid proposals and tender documents Ø Track and update estimates based on project changes Ø Maintain cost databases and historical records

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Ø Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Ø Minimum 3-5 years experience in construction estimating Ø Strong analytical and mathematical abilities Ø Knowledge of construction methods and materials Ø Proficiency in estimating software Ø Excellent MS Office skills Ø Excellent written, communication, organization, analytical and prioritization skills Qualitative and other attributes required: Ø Attention to detail and accuracy Ø Self-motivated Ø Good communication skills Ø Ability to work independently and within a team Ø Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects bidding at one time Ø Ability to be assertive and follow-through on contacts Ø Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale Ø Effective time management and logical decision- making ability Ø Capacity to handle pressure Ø Physical and mental fitness Ø Ability to work well in a fast- paced environment

Physical Demands:

Ø Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time Ø Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time Ø Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs Ø Ability to drive to bid sites

Hours:

This is a full-time position 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.elp drive successful project bids and contribute to the overall growth of our company.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
