Job Summary Sr. Estimator - Public Works Our client is a contractor that focuses primarily on public works projects. Our client has a great reputation in the space, and regularly works with top firms that support MTA, NYSCA, and NYCDDC projects. The Sr. Estimator - Public Works is open due to growth and robust pipeline. Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate project budgeting and timelines. Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids to determine the best value for the project. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service. Identify potential cost-saving measures without compromising project quality or safety standards. Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients. Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and labor costs to provide the most accurate estimates.
