Job description Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Demolition Estimator with some General Contracting experience to prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for interior and structural demolition projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, and the Estimating team to ensure bids are thorough, aligned with project scope, and reflective of site conditions, safety requirements, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate can identify project risks, develop practical execution strategies, and support successful project delivery from pre-construction through completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and structural pre-construction/demolition projects. Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs. Perform site visits and walk-throughs to assess existing conditions, access constraints, and logistical challenges. Evaluate project risks including structural considerations, hazardous materials, sequencing, and site safety. Develop scopes of work and coordinate pricing with subcontractors and vendors. Collaborate with Project Managers to support budgeting, cost tracking, and change order pricing. Communicate with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to clarify scope and expectations. Maintain organized and accurate records of estimates, proposals, and bid documentation. Ensure estimates align with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental considerations. Stay current on demolition methods, equipment, industry trends, and best practices. Qualifications/Requirements 5+ years of estimating experience in demolition, construction, general contracting, or related trades. Strong understanding of demolition methods, sequencing, and site logistics. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Knowledge of OSHA standards and general construction safety practices. Ability to assess job sites and identify risks, constraints, and safety concerns. Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits
- Annual compensation starting at $120,000 - commensurate with experience.
