Commercial Construction Estimator

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have knowledge and ease of navigating computers & software, showing attention to detail, work well with peers and take direction from management. We will offer training to a suitable entry-level candidate who demonstrates the ability of being able to handle the work.

Estimator Responsibilities:

Read and understand mechanical drawings Use manufacturers software Complete takeoffs from mechanical drawings Provide detailed quotes based on the takeoffs Price up all products represented by ADE Prepare detailed proposals Performs other related duties as assigned by management. AutoCAD or 3D Modeling Program experience not required Requirements Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the construction industry Computer skills preferred: Takeoff Software (PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc ), Microsoft Excel knowledge, Enterprise Resource Planning Software (Microsoft Navision) Other skills required: Organization, Ability to learn, High attention to detail Salary & Benefits Overview Opportunity for advancement Excellent benefits program including medical, dental, vision, 401k (up to 4% match) Vacation, Paid Holidays and PTO Product training and support provided - in house and factory training Salary range based on experience To learn more about our company please visit our website at Company Description The Premier Manufacturers Representative of HVAC Products.
