Job Title:
Estimator -
Inside Sales Associate Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator - Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in processing requests for quotes (RFQs) accurately and efficiently, helping to convert prospects into loyal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with purchasing agents, designers, and other departments to ensure a seamless transition from sale to production. Review designer specifications meticulously to extract relevant information for preparing quotes and making necessary revisions. Perform size takeoffs from customer drawings and blueprints (experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate). Create and submit material samples as required. Compile and send formal sales quotes to the manager for quality control review. Respond to customer inquiries and assist Sales Representatives in maintaining positive relationships, ensuring accuracy to assist them in closing to sale. Coordinate effectively between the Sales Department and other sales-related entities. Deliver exceptional customer service.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel are required. Solution-oriented mindset. Independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Keen attention to detail. Punctual and reliable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Team player who can follow directions with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform essential duties efficiently with minimal supervision. Guidance will be provided in areas such as industry practices, organizational processes, customer expectations, and product-related issues. The qualifications and skills listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Office experience. Ability to read architectural designs.
Compensation:
Dependent on experience $55,000-$70,000
