  • Full-time Job Overview This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Estimator located in Montgomery, NY.
The primary responsibilities of this role includes the pre construction phase of a job. This includes managing project timelines, coordinating with teams, overseeing materials procurement, evaluating and review possible bid opportunities and leads, ensuring project compliance with specifications and standards, as you build to create cost estimates. All of the experience you bring to the estimating team will help drive successful project bids to ensure the company's continued growth and success. Duties Executing estimates procedures and process. Proven track record in Project Management and the ability to handle all aspects of project planning and execution. Projects include Hotels, Retail, Assistant Living and Commercial Housing. Proficient with Onscreen, Quick bid, Procore, Bluebeam, Bluebook, Smart bid, Autodesk, CRM systems and Excel. Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering is preferred, but not required. Qualifications Assist in the day to day construction estimating principles, contracts, and cost control strategies. A practical understanding of on-the-ground operations. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and subcontractors. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications is preferred.
