Job Description
Overview This role will be a sales driven estimator role. Targeting B2B transactions with a goal of establishing a long term relationship with any clients encountered. Using bid boards and a solid outreach strategy this role has unlimited opportunities with monetary value. Responsibilities Develop detailed cost estimates for facade replacement and new construction projects using industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather project specifications, drawings, and scope details. Prepare comprehensive bid packages that include pricing, scope of work, and contractual terms. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather measurements, and verify project requirements. Monitor project budgets and perform cost control analyses throughout the bidding process and project execution. Assist in contract review and management to ensure scope alignment and risk mitigation. Reach out to new general contractors, property managers, and developers in order to earn their business and be added to their bid/vendor list. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management practices. Proficiency with Bluebeam for digital markup and document management. Familiarity with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and architectural details accurately.
