Type:
full-time Restoration Estimator - Astoria, Queens Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with detailed cost estimates. Develop scopes of work for restoration projects. Obtain and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing. Assist with labor, material, equipment, and access-related pricing. Support bid preparation, clarifications, exclusions, and final submissions. Assist with change orders and revised project scopes. Participate in site walks and pre-bid meetings. Coordinate with project managers, field teams, consultants, and vendors. Maintain organized estimating files and project documentation. Qualifications 1-2+ years of construction estimating or related preconstruction experience. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience performing takeoffs and developing project pricing. Exposure to any of the following is highly relevant: Façade restoration Masonry Waterproofing Roofing Concrete repair Building envelope Commercial renovation Demolition Experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, or similar software preferred Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Local Law 11 / FISP Experience with scaffolding, sidewalk sheds, rigging, or exterior access. Knowledge of existing-condition and occupied-building projects.
