Job Description HVAC Estimator - Salary based on experience $85k to $150k Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for HVAC projects Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for ductwork, piping, equipment, controls, insulation, and related materials Prepare accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Review bid proposals Attend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs as required Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and service personnel during project turnover Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information Assist with cost-saving recommendations Support pricing of change orders and project revisions Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Maintain organized bid files and documentation Qualifications Experience in HVAC estimating, mechanical construction, or related field preferred Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills Proficiency in Estimation software Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and time management skills Experience with commercial HVAC projects Knowledge of union and prevailing wage projects Associate degree or technical training in HVAC, construction management, or engineering Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Paid time off and holidays SEP plan Salary $85K - $150K Yearly Location Rochester, NY, 14611,
