This position is responsible for producing quotes for all potential incoming orders. Position will work closely with the sales team and engineering on securing orders and producing cost-plus quotes. Responsibilities
  • Prepare Cost Estimates for Manufacturing to Determine the Price of a Product
  • Work Closely with Outside Vendors to Secure Pricing and Lead Times
  • Develop Negotiation Positions and Adhere to Government and Corporate Policies as the Pertain to Pricing
  • Use Historical Data, Past Sales, and Previous Quotes to Determine Labor Hours and Material
  • Coordinate Activity with other Internal Departments
  • Present Formal Quotes to Sales for Presentation to Customer
  • Work with Sales Team to Secure Customer Orders Qualifications-Preferred
  • Previous experience in order entry, cost estimating, or related field
  • Manufacturing or Engineering Experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 2-Year Degree in related field a Plus Compensation & Benefits
  • Salaried position 50,000 - 60,000/year
  • 120 Hours of PTO year 1, 140 hours of PTO year 5
  • 8 Paid Holidays Annually
  • Company contribution of $550/month for family or $450/month for a single for health care coverage
  • 401K Match - 100% Match on first 3%, 50% on next 2% (eligible after 6 months of service)
