We bring craftsmanship, creativity, and precision to every project—and we expect the same from everyone on our team. Position Summary The Project Manager / Estimator owns the full project lifecycle from accurate, profitable estimates through seamless delivery. They are responsible for ensuring projects are priced right, scheduled tight, and built with exceptional quality, all while maintaining exceptional client communication. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Preconstruction Lead all estimating activities for remodeling projects. Prepare detailed takeoffs, scope breakdowns, and bid packages. Collaborate with designers and the sales team to ensure scope alignment. Evaluate subcontractor bids and select partners based on quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. Deliver accurate estimates and proposals within established timelines. Project Planning & Scheduling Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines. Identify critical path activities, long-lead items, and potential risks early. Coordinate permits, inspections, and resource allocation. Project Execution Oversee daily operations once the project begins like tracking schedule, cost, and quality. Conduct regular site meetings with clients, subs, and internal teams. Resolve issues proactively and communicate changes transparently. Uphold the company's craftsmanship standards on every site. Financial Management Monitor project budgets and cost-to-complete reports. Approve and track change orders and subcontractor invoices. Protect profit margins by identifying and correcting slippage early. Client Relations Serve as the client's main point of contact throughout design and build. Communicate clearly, honestly, and consistently to maintain trust. Conduct final walkthroughs and closeouts with attention to detail and pride. Leadership & Collaboration Partner closely with Site Leads, Construction Manager, & VP of Construction. Lead subcontractors through accountability, clarity, and respect. Contribute to process improvement and mentoring within the production team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management and estimating (custom remodel or new build experience required). Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong technical knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and codes. Proficiency with estimating and project management software Excellent organizational and communication skills. A proactive, calm, problem-solving mindset who is able to lead in pressure situations.
