We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to support our growing team in preparing accurate and timely bids for playground and athletic surfacing projects. In this role, you will review construction documents, perform take-offs, and develop comprehensive pricing to deliver competitive and complete project estimates. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in construction, building materials, or estimating who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with customers, contractors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Bid Preparation (70%) Review and evaluate Requests for Estimates (RFEs) and project specifications Maintain a weekly bid calendar to ensure deadlines are met Analyze construction documents to understand full scope of work Perform detailed take-offs and prepare cost estimates Input take-offs and pricing data into spreadsheets and estimating systems Review estimates for completeness, accuracy, and competitiveness Identify and communicate discrepancies or missing information in project documents Customer & Vendor Communication (10%) Correspond with customers, contractors, and internal representatives Assist in resolving technical questions related to estimates and project scope Technical & Design Support (10%) Provide support to architects and engineers regarding product specifications and design considerations Additional Responsibilities (10%) Respond to customer inquiries by distributing brochures and product information Assist with development of marketing materials such as cut sheets Participate in trade shows and occasional job site or architectural meetings What we offer you: Competitive medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance coverage 401k with a company match PTO Hours are accrued from Day 1 Tuition reimbursement Opportunities for development and internal promotions Two minute walk to eco-friendly public transportation from rabbittransit Sometimes the best jobs get missed because people think they don't have what it takes.
