$21 to $25 per hour As an Estimating Intern , you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the preconstruction process for a variety of construction projects. Working alongside experienced estimators and project teams, you'll assist with preparing cost estimates and proposals, reviewing drawings and specifications, and analyzing historical project data to help develop accurate budgets and project plans. This internship provides valuable exposure to industry-standard estimating tools, collaborative project planning, and the critical role estimating plays in bringing successful projects from concept to construction. The anticipated salary range for this position is $21 to $25 per hour. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. What You Bring Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program. Preferred majors/concentrations in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields Passion and desire to work in the construction industry Strong communication skills, including a willingness and comfortability to create and maintain relationships by means of cold and warm phone calls. Goal oriented, with a focus on personal development Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred. Passion and desire to work in the construction industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision. Preference may be given to candidates who have engaged with Boldt through career fairs, networking events, classroom presentations, or other campus recruiting activities.
