Company Description Regional Groundwork provides asphalt paving, sealcoating, striping, and patching services across Northeast Oklahoma, with a focus on reliable, high-quality work for commercial and residential clients. The team specializes in maintaining and improving paved surfaces to enhance safety, appearance, and longevity. Operations are centered around Tulsa, OK, offering local expertise and responsive service. Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Tulsa, OK. This position is responsible for preparing accurate estimates for asphalt paving by reviewing site conditions, plans, and specifications, and calculating material, labor, and equipment costs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, developing detailed proposals, and collaborating with operations and field teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements and timelines. The role also involves updating estimates as project scopes change, tracking actual costs against budgets, and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders and clients about pricing, options, and project constraints. The Project Estimator contributes to continuous improvement by analyzing past projects, refining estimation methods, and supporting decision-making that improves profitability and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Estimating experience in heavy civil / groundwork preferred. Strong project estimation capabilities, including experience with Project Estimation and Construction Estimating for paving or construction-related work. Demonstrated proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting, with the ability to develop accurate, competitive, and sustainable bids. Effective Communication skills, including clear written proposals and professional verbal communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Experience or familiarity with asphalt, civil construction, or related trades, and the ability to interpret plans, specifications, and site conditions. Proficiency with excel, estimation, take off, and earthwork software; strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work on-site in Tulsa, OK, conduct field visits, and collaborate closely with operations and field personnel. Solid understanding of construction means/methods, quantity takeoff practices, and scheduling. Valid driver's license.
Pay:
$58,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
