Manufacturing Engineer/Estimator Summit Employment Professionals - 4.3 Tulsa, OK Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $85,000 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications CAD software Blueprint specification interpretation Engineering Production planning SolidWorks Manual handling Manufacturing engineering Manufacturing company experience Cross-functional communication Full Job Description As the Manufacturing Engineer he/she will be responsible for: Quoting components and assemblies in accordance with all customer specifications Planning components and assemblies for manufacturing and inspection Following company policies and procedures to develop manufacturing and inspection processes and techniques, and communicate them effectively to ensure first-time-through product conformity without jeopardizing on-time delivery Essential vs. Non-Essential Functions The Manufacturing Engineer must be able to interpret customer models, CATIA files, blueprints and specifications. The role requires the ability to provide accurate estimates of manufacturing, inspection and outside processing time and costs on a job-by-job basis. The Manufacturing Engineer will establish effective operating processes for each job to ensure product conformity, on-time delivery, and profitability. The Manufacturing Engineer will interact with customers to trouble-shoot specification-related issues in a timely manner and effectively follow through until resolution. The Manufacturing Engineer may also interact with suppliers to ensure outsourced products meet customer requirements and delivered according to plan. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or equivalent experience (preferred) Working knowledge of CAD programs such as CATIA & SolidWorks Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings Minimum of three consecutive years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (working in an estimating/engineering capacity is preferred) Ability to effectively communicate with all levels throughout the organization and outside agencies Physical and Environmental Requirements The Manufacturing Engineer must be willing to assist where needed throughout manufacturing to troubleshoot manufacturing and inspection processes as needed. The Manufacturing Engineer must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
