Description:
Oversee day to day operations of commercial projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope by managing labor, scheduling, and material requisition. Order materials and equipment needed for each project Compile submittal and plan package for foreman Make visits to site throughout project to ensure smooth execution Schedule labor and adjust as needed throughout project Oversee 15-20 projects simultaneously in a continuous basis Assist in the handling of disciplinary action, coaching, and performance reviews Schedule start-up and controls, test and balance. Ensure everything is working properly prior to project close Complete close-out documentation Assist in handling personnel issues within department Interview, select, and set up training for new employees within commercial department Monitor job-site safety, communicate with safety committee as needed Meeting job deadlines, installation schedule, and project close out schedule Maintain positive morale of team Ensure jobs are being finished on or under budget Minimize on the job accidents for jobs under your supervision Effectiveness of communication with Commercial department management team Effectiveness of communication with contractors and sub-contractorsRequirements:
Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance Strong interpersonal skills Proven experience in strategic planning and risk management Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently Basic knowledge of job-related safety requirements and procedures Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, purchase orders and contracts Ability to prioritize and execute tasks Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent 10+ years related construction experience Minimum 5 years previous HVAC experience Previous supervisory experience preferred Ability to read blueprints Excellent written and verbal English language communication skillsSimilar jobs in Milwaukie, OR
