Project Estimator

Project Estimator Romtec, Inc. The Engineering Department at Romtec, Inc is looking for an Estimator to join our team. Romtec is a Design Build Firm specializing in Parks and Recreation structures. If you are looking for professional Estimating position with a national company, please apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

a. Actively identify and pursue new vendors for construction materials and negotiate pricing. b. Maintain professional relationships with local construction vendors, which may involve in person meetings at Romtec. c. Prepare, revise and prompt material lists from reviewing building plan sets that reflect material sizes, quantities, etc. d. Work collaboratively with the Engineering Department regarding material function and constructability. e. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) It is critical that the Estimator has: a. Detail-oriented mindset. b. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. b. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and general office computer and software capabilities. c. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. c. 4-Year Bachelor's Degree (a plus) - In any field.

Pay:

$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
