DOE SCHEDULE

 Full-time | 40 hours/wk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist attorneys with litigation matters at various stages, managing case files and performing assigned tasks under moderate supervision Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, claim files, deposition transcripts, witness statements, and other litigation-related documents Conduct medical and legal research, including obtaining and reviewing physician, hospital, pharmacy, and court records Draft pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, correspondence, reports, and case budgets for attorney review Track deadlines and case activity, follow up on documentation, andmunicate regularly with claims examiners, policyholders, courts, and legal professionals to ensure timely case progression

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of relevant legal experience; Prior legal assistant/secretarial experience required | Worker's Comp or other defense experience ideal Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Stronganizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbalmunication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail, including discretion with sensitive information

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, work at aputer, and perform repetitive keyboarding and document review. Occasional lifting of files and office materials, as well as the ability to move about the office as needed, is required.
