Our client is seeking a motivated Construction Estimator with approximately three or more years of commercial construction estimating experience to join their growing preconstruction team. Prepare detailed estimates for ground-up, renovation, and tenant fit-out commercial construction projects. Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing. Develop conceptual, schematic, GMP, and hard bid estimates. Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and the preconstruction team throughout the bidding process. Qualifications Approximately three (3) or more years of commercial construction estimating experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager. Experience estimating commercial building projects is required. Experience with healthcare, higher education, laboratory, pharmaceutical, institutional, or critical infrastructure projects is a plus, but not required. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimating principles. Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, SmartBid, WinEst, or similar platforms. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
