Type:

full-time OneSparQ is looking for a Low Voltage Estimator in the Washington, PA area.

Required Skills:

2+ years of experience in low-voltage systems sales, estimating, installation, or a related field-based technical role Working knowledge of access control, CCTV/video surveillance, fire alarm, and related low-voltage systems Ability to perform site surveys, interpret plans and specifications, and develop system designs Experience preparing technical estimates, material takeoffs, bid packages, and customer quotes Knowledge of Division 27 and applicable local and national codes Additional Skills (Not Required) Existing relationships with general contractors or electrical contractors Experience using ConstructConnect or similar construction bidding platforms Experience identifying and pursuing public-sector opportunities through SAM.gov Manufacturer knowledge across access control, fire alarm, and video surveillance platforms, including systems such as RS2, Honeywell, or Avigilon High school diploma, vocational training, or additional technical education

Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate bid opportunities for low-voltage and electronic security projects Conduct job site surveys to assess project scope, equipment requirements, labor needs, and installation conditions Design low-voltage system solutions using components such as cameras, card readers, pull stations, smoke detectors, and related devices Review blueprints, specifications, schematics, and bid documents to develop accurate project estimates Prepare technical proposals and quotes that account for equipment, material, labor, and project requirements Coordinate with contractors, engineers, customers, and internal teams to clarify scope and improve estimating accuracy Support the sales process from initial opportunity review through final project pricing and handoff Maintain organized and accurate estimating and project documentation
