Job Description

Our client in New Kensington, PA is seeking a passionate and skilled Quoting/Estimating Engineer to join their team!
Pay:
DOE Hours:
Mon-Fri Responsibilities Manage quote opportunities and meet Quotation deadlines. Develop detailed cost estimates Evaluates RFQs to determine product cost and manufacturing feasibility based on materials, labor, and design. Checks customer prints and models to find potential manufacturing risks, part tolerances, and tooling needs Generate formal customer quotations with clear assumptions/exceptions, lead times and commercial terms. Develops the quotations of the modifications/adjustments occurring after the initial order. Partner with Supply Chain to verify raw material cost, MOQ, lead time and other purchasing requirements. Partners with Quality Engineering to manage regulatory standards and inspection requirements, including PPAP and validation protocols. Continuously refine estimating logic using actual performance data (cycle time, scrap, productivity).. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related field). Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation or a related role in the manufacturing industry, with specific experience in precision machined components Direct experience in medical, automotive or aerospace Experience working for a Contract Manufacturer or OEM Strong engineering background with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment Proficiency in using SolidWorks or equipment CAD/CAM software packages for estimating and DFM purposes Benefits Include Medical, Dental and Vision 401 (k) with company match PTO Time and more!
