Overview:

Seeking a Senior Cost Engineer or Lead to support a large scale, multi-billion-dollar natural gas power generation project in the United States. This role will lead cost estimating, forecasting, and cost control across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and management of the project cost baseline and forecasts
• Prepare and validate detailed cost estimates and budgets
• Deliver monthly cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior leadership
• Evaluate cost impacts related to scope changes and contractor change orders
• Integrate cost data with project schedules and cash flow models
• Partner with engineering, procurement, construction, and contracts teams
• Mentor junior cost engineering staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of cost engineering or cost control experience on large infrastructure, power, or industrial projects
• Experience supporting projects valued at $1B+ preferred
• Strong Excel and cost management system experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Experience:

• Natural gas power generation or utility scale energy projects
