UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital is looking for a passionate Crisis Clinician to join our Phone Center at resolve Crisis Services! Crisis Clinician levels from Associate, Clin I and Clin II will be considered for this role. The title and pay rate for these positions may vary depending on education level and years of experience. Bonus Details Full-Time:

  • $3500 3 years
  • $5000 This position is eligible for the Behavioral Health Fellows Program
  • an initiative sponsored by Allegheny County Department of Human Services (DHS) in partnership with Community Care Behavioral Health and Jewish Healthcare Foundation.
Designed to strengthen the County's public behavioral health system, this program offers incredible benefits, including up to $45,000 in educational loan repayment (based on your degree level), or free access to an accredited professional certificate program, as well as paid time off for training and professional development as a part of a cohort group.
Responsibilities:
Manages a caseload for the shift Obtaining clinical information in the medical record Provide supportive counseling to consumers to promote stability. Work efficiently and independently in crisis setting Support consumer and negotiates appropriate referral services. Collaborates with the Clin II such case consultations Meets documentation and completes all required paperwork. Completes face to face crisis assessments Manages crisis situations effectively Complete case reviews
