Position Overview:

Our company is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented project estimator and coordinator to join our team of committed professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the glazing and construction industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with our dynamic team to prepare accurate cost estimates and support competitive and profitable bids.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for materials.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates and proposals.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and bid documents.
• Communicate with suppliers, clients, contractors, and internal teams, including: Follow-up with proposals to determine success. Participate in weekly project meetings.
• Assist with material purchasing and project submittals.
• Learn industry standards, codes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (OR equivalent work experience).
• Experience in commercial glazing or construction estimating.
• Demonstrated skill in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.). Familiarity with estimating software (a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Resume and verifiable references.
