Emerald City Winsupply is building a disciplined, high-level commercial mechanical platform. This role sits at the center of project execution. We are hiring a Commercial Plumbing/ Mechanical Estimator who thrives in technical complexity and high-accountability environments. This is a seat for someone who: Owns projects from takeoff through execution Thinks critically and challenges unclear scope Works independently without constant oversight Prioritizes accuracy and structured execution Is comfortable making firm decisions under deadline pressure Core Responsibilities 1. Full Project Takeoffs & Estimating Perform complete material takeoffs from mechanical and plumbing drawing sets Interpret specifications, addenda, and revisions without handholding Identify inconsistencies or scope gaps before submission Manage multiple commercial bid deadlines simultaneously 2. Technical Scope Control Communicate directly with mechanical contractors to clarify scope Push back when drawings or specifications are unclear Identify risk areas before submission Provide clean, structured documentation for internal use Assist in preparation of submittal documentation 3. Awarded Project Execution Convert awarded quotes into structured sales orders Break material into logical release phases Coordinate with warehouse on staging, bundling, and kitting Assist in managing project timelines with operations Maintain organized documentation through project completion 4. Systems & Process Discipline Utilize CRM for quote tracking and pipeline management Maintain version control and digital organization Contribute to standardized estimating workflows Support structured estimating processes and documentation systems Experience with takeoff software required (AutoQuote preferred; training available) Required Experience 5+ years commercial plumbing and mechanical estimating experience Background in mechanical contracting or mechanical supply distribution Strong knowledge of Commercial plumbing systems, hydronic and mechanical piping system, Carbon steel and grooved systems, mechanical valve assemblies And large-diameter piping systems Ability to read and interpret full construction drawing sets independently Experience with takeoff software (AutoQuote preferred; training available if needed) Familiarity with submittals and construction documentation Broad knowledge of major mechanical manufacturers and product categories is expected.
